So painful how a 7-year-old boy was burnt to death for stealing common garri in Nigeria

Boy 7 burnt alive for stealing garri in Nigeria

Nigeria is seem to be only country where politicians and public office holders will steal billions and sometimes trillions and walk free on the street, after using the stolen wealth to bribe their way through legal process. But the hungry poor masses are always met with either instant jungle justice or jail sentence from magistrates and judges, after setting free high class public fund looters.

One wonders why a seven-year-old boy would be gruesomely burnt to alive for allegedly stealing common garri (locally processed) cassava, which virtually anybody could afford in Nigeria, no matter how difficult the economic climate might be. If not for anything, at least for the sake of God and considering the boy’s age, they would have asked him what pushed him into such act and see how the little boy could be rehabilitated.

The boy’s murder is now making the rounds on several social media showing how he was being beaten mercilessly and set ablaze.

While he was being killed no body rescued him, but now people are saying the government should investigate the incident, which no matter what they do, cannot never bring the poor boy back to life.

As indicated by him, he grassed into the lodging, and requested that the lady who is his target have intercourse with him so he would save her life.

The lady (Mary) exhibited some level brevity and rejected his quest however Adeyemi said he in the end endeavored to assault her, amid which she raised the alarm, alarming the management of the hotel about the incident who called the police.

The secondary school dropout, was captured by the Satellite Town Police Division.

During his confession he said, “I was working as a casual worker at a bottling company in the Apapa area before I met the gang members in the Ajegunle area.

TROUBLE LOOMS: As PENGASSAN threaten industrial action if President Buhari goes on with the call by Northerners to sale off the country's national assets

PENGASSAN

As a result of the purported plan to sell the national assets of Nigeria to some Muslim Northern cabals as grand plot to take indirectly take over the major economic hub of the country, using the current recession as an excuse to execute their strategy, there is the likelihood that there will be series of industrial actions and other forms of civil disobedience to force the current administration which has inflicted untold hardship on Nigerians.

Thus, report reaching us has it that the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has debilitated to go on strike if the Federal Government offers national resources for sale.

The union's Public Relations' Officer, Mr Emmanuel Ojugbana, made this known in an announcement in Lagos, where he prompted the administration not to offer the assets in light of a legitimate concern for Nigerians.

Lately, calls were made by some Northerners with Alhaji Dangote leading the call for the sale of the assets to cushion financial retreat

Ojugbana depicted the moves as unpatriotic, saying that the deal would add more hardship to Nigerians.

He said that it wasn't right to tackle the nation's transient financial issue by giving over aggregate common treasure to a couple of people.

“We will not watch our national assets sold, especially those in the oil and gas industry such as NLNG that has become a huge revenue earner for Nigeria; refineries and shares in the upstream oil and gas JV operations.

“Any attempt to sell these assets will be resisted as PENGASSAN will ensure that every activity in the oil and gas sector is brought to a halt,” he held.

BREAKING: Femi Fani-Kayode reveals how victims of plane crashes in Nigerian were used for sacrifice

Femi Fani-Kayode

One of Nigeria’s famous and outspoken former minister of Aviation and Ex-Spokesman to immediate past President Jonathan, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed to the world that all the 5 airplane that crashed bewtween 2005 and 2006 were all premeditated with the sole purpose of using the victims as sacrifice.

Among the victims of such crash was a popular TV Evangelist Bimbo Odukoya who passed on after a Sosoliso Airlines crash in December 2005

According to Fani-Kayode, most of our so called leaders are not human beings, just as he described them as very heartless and cold- blooded reptiles and certified psychopaths.

The ex-minister made the cases by means of a post on his Facebook page.

read below details of his revelation underneath:

“Most of our leaders are not human. They are what Mr. David Icke, the famous British historian and public speaker describes as “hybrids” and “reptilians” who are working for a hidden hand and some very dark and sinister forces.

“It is in that context that you can understand their exceptional callousness. They are cold-blooded reptiles and certified psychopaths. “Between 2005 and 2006, just before I was redeployed as Minister to the Ministry of Aviation, there were 5 plane crashes in Nigeria in one year.

“453 innocent souls perished in those crashes in that year alone. All of them were man-made and planned. They were sacrifices.

“In one case a bomb was planted on the plane. I know this because I took over as Minister and stopped it. I had access to all the reports, particularly the American NTSB reports.

“I wrote to the powers that be and demanded an international investigation only to find out that they were involved too. I was asked to drop it in very clear and almost threatening terms.

“Despite that I told the Senate Aviation Committee in 2008 at a public hearing what my views were.

“I spoke about a blood cult that was in the aviation sector that derived their power from causing crashes.

“Because of my testimony at the Senate I became an enemy of the entire system.

“From being their darling and blue-eyed boy I became their mortal enemy overnight because I refused to guard their secrets.

“They forgot that I was a true believer and child of the Living God. I cannot be part of their evil.

“Since then they have hated me and tried to destroy and discredit me in more ways than one but God has been with me.

“Members of the public know nothing about their political leaders. And it is worldwide phenomenon.

“There is a grand conspiracy to establish a New World Order and most of these world leaders are just puppets of the illuminati, paving the way for the Anti-Christ.

All u need to do us to be in the inward circles of power for one hour to realize that these animals are not human.

“They are cold, unfeeling and callous. They kill, maim and destroy at the drop of a hat.

“There are many secrets that some of us will carry to the grave.

“They say knowledge is power and ignorance comes with a very heavy price and devastating consequences.

“This matter is for developed and enlightened minds and sadly beyond most people.

“The so-called Islamic agenda in Nigeria and elsewhere is obvious and we are here fighting it day and night risking life, liberty and limb.

“The question is who is behind it and why? What is the end game? The motto of a small branch of the illuminati tree known as the Freemasons is “out of chaos comes order”.
“It follows that theirs is to first create chaos from country to country and then to establish their ‘new world order’ “. FFK”

“After they left the bar, the defendant raped the victim, threw her inside a gutter and stole her property and money. She shouted for help, but nobody was around to help her.”

The properties that were stolen by the litigant are Samsung X6 telephone, esteemed at N92,000; Malado wristwatch, esteemed N40,000; aroma esteemed at N16,000 and a money totalling N13,000.

The complainant saw him at Oniru Beach and raised alert. Yet, he got away, just to be gotten at Oniru Estate, after he was hit by a vehicle while attempting to escape once more.

As indicated by him, the offense is culpable under Sections 285 and 259 of the criminal law of Lagos State, 2011.

Be that as it may, the respondent argued guiltlessness to the two-count charge preferred as a detriment to him.

CNN comes under attack for being biased against Nigeria

Mark Zuckerberg

The Cable News Network (CNN), has annoyed Nigerians for discarding the nation's name in the feature of a report declaring the visit of Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, to Africa's most busy nation.

But one may ask, could their action be as a result of the blackmail President Buhari on Nigerians when he travelled abroad?

The story said Sub-Sahara Africa as Mr. Zuckerberg's destination.

The Facebook founder went to Lagos, Nigeria's business capital, on Tuesday, and communicated with Nigerian tech business people at Yaba, viewed as the Silicon Valley of Nigeria.

“Mark Zuckerberg makes first-ever visit to Sub-Sahara Africa,” read the story, distributed by CNN Africa and shared on its Facebook page and Twitter late Tuesday.

That story speedily started outrage in one of the world's biggest oil producers, with nationals taking to Facebook and Twitter to assault CNN for discarding "Nigeria" and making the feeling that Africa was a nation.

Nigerians who remarked on the matter communicated solid viewpoints, and tried to rescue their national pride.
Below are some of the excerpts of the reactions from angry Nigerians:
“CNN it’s NIGERIA!!!” according to a Facebook user, Iloh Andrew, “I know you are shy to say it is Nigeria…safe, sound and happy to be here…not the Nigeria you propagate as a drop bomb zone.”

Also, Bola Aduwo, another Facebook user said, “CNN please what is Sub-Sahara Africa? An area of over 20 countries. Why can’t you be specific? What will it cost to say Nigeria?”
Mr. Aduwo went further to say that Nigeria is the country with the largest Facebook community in Africa with over 16 million users, and, therefore, deserved respect.

“We can no longer be ignored,” he added. “Receive sense please.”

“If Mr. Mark had gone to a European country, will you tweet this way: ‘Mark makes first ever visit to Europe’ — CNN Africa?”Twitter user @oluwatimilehino asked.

“Ewo ni Sub-Sahara Africa (which one is Sub-Sahara Africa)?” Twitter user @fireofola queried. “Nigeria is too much to mention?”

And again on Facebook, there was one user questioning the news organisation’s understanding of maps.

“Just say he came to Nigeria. If you don’t know where that one is, check your map, don’t be shy,” said a user, Winnie Coco.”

Public office holders have made corruption official in Nigeria - Bakare

Tunde Bakare

Pastor Tunde Bakare, confirms the level of corruption swimming within the corridors of those saddled with public trust in Nigeria, which has made corruption official in government on a daily basis.

The General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly made this know while launching the Onyekachi Ubani Foundation in Lagos at the weekend decried that: “At the twilight of the military era in Nigeria’s political trajectory, the name “Nigeria” became synonymous with a certain word, a word that elicits the image of a cesspool running over corruption.

“At that time, precisely in 1999, Transparency International rated Nigeria the second most corrupt country in the world in terms of perception, second only to her eastern neighbour, Cameroon.

“For instance, given the unbridled looting of the treasury at the time, reportedly to the tune of over 1billion dollars as was subsequently uncovered following the exit of the military, it was obvious that the abnormal had become the norm, the illegal had become legal, the outrageous had become banal and the aberrant had become the gold standard.

“Despite the emergence of a new government on the heels of a strong anti-corruption campaign, despite the credence lent to this anti-corruption promise by the antecedents of President Muhammadu Buhari, and despite global acknowledgment that Nigeria has taken shovel loads off the peak of this mountain of filth,” he added.

BREAKING: Over six policemen killed in Lagos as militants invade Adaxson area

Militants kill six policemen in Lagos

All regions in Nigeria are beginning to have a feel of the evil seed of corruption and insincerity sowed by our past leaders towards the younger generation as Militancy in the Niger Delta is gradually spreading like a wild fire to the South-West. The oil and gas companies on their part have also failed the people for not taking their corporate social responsibilities seriously by meaningfully engaging the youths of the region, as it is done in civilised society where similar resources are found.

PRESIDENT BUHARI MOVES TO DETAIN CHIEF OLU FALAE

Olu Falae

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission cross-examined Chief Olu Falae, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, on the role he was alleged to have played in the $15bn arms scam.

The cross-examination of Chief Falae came as a result of his admittance of the receipt of N100m from a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party during the 2015 presidential election.

According to report, the money was given to Falae’s SDP to endorse former President Goodluck Jonathan.

But a source revealed that the money came from the imprest account of the Office of the National Security Adviser, under Con. Sambo Sasuki (retd).

According to report, the money received by Falae was part of the N3.145bn wired from the ONSA’s account to the bank account of Joint Trust Dimension Limited, which according to investigation owned by the Director of Finance of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Senator Nenadi Usman.

Usman was said to have made the transfer in accordance with Anenih’s instruction into a UBA account titled Marecco Nigeria Limited with account number 1000627022 owned by Falae.

Femi Fani-Kayode, Achike Udenwa, and Viola Onwuliri also received their own share of the money as reported.

According to one of the investigators, Falae was cross-examined for several hours and released on the condition that whenever he is needed, he will turn in.

2019, DELE MOMODU KNOCKS PRESIDENT BUHARI AS HE PREDICTS VICTORY FOR THE PDP

Buhari

Dele Momodu, a top member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and Publisher of Ovation Magazine had revealed five elementary behaviours false praise singers around the President have refused to tell him, which has the capacity to truncate his 2019 presidential ambition.

According to an article captioned “what they won’t tell the President”, which was published today, 16 July 2016. The Publisher also lashed Mr. Femi Adesina who is the President’s spokeman.

According to Adesina, majority of Nigerians are happy with the President’s performance, apart from those nicknamed “wailing wailers”, who are mourning.

The Publisher highlighted the following fears:

1. Slow Pace of Work

Nigerians are complaining about the slow pace of work. They want Baba to jazz things up. Not that they expect him to do it all, but they are hoping he can rejig this government and bring in proven and tested Nigerians from any part of the world and whatever political or religious background. It is the prerogative of every government to hone its engine of governance regularly by discarding worn-out batteries, plugs and pumps. You may need to flush dirty engine oil and replace with premium lubricant. It should be obvious that what we have at the moment is far short of the speed and stamina required to take Nigeria to the next level.

2. Northernization of Nigeria

Nigerians are complaining about the seeming Nothernisation of the key sectors of the Nigerian economy and polity. I am personally not very worried about ethnic sentiments as a completely detribalized Nigerian, but there are those who feel very strongly about this and the President may need to allay their reasonable fears of being extinguished and exterminated from the national politics of Nigeria. My honest suggestion is that Baba should come out to tell Nigerians the criteria he uses in arriving at his choices. He should confront his critics with superior logic and the mathematics of appointment distribution.

3. High Cost of Governance

Nigerians are complaining about the high cost of governance especially in this era of dwindling national fortunes. Many are telling us that we persuaded them to vote APC, because we flaunted the credentials of Buhari as a frugal and simple man not susceptible to frivolous spending or profligacy. They are taunting us that they have seen no evidence of the reduction in the extravagant spending on presidential jets and the upkeep of government personnel and their families.

4. Directionless Economy

Nigerians are wondering what direction the economy is headed with the incessant free-fall of the naira despite all efforts at arresting the kamikaze plunge. Added to this is the deregulation of the price of petrol and the pains being felt by these twin policies can only be described as untold hardship.

While Nigerians are highly impressed that Baba is fighting looters to standstill, they want to know what is happening to all the humongous cash already recovered. Many States are still in financial mess, unable to pay their workers.

5. Agitation for Nigeria’s Break up

Nigerians are also talking about the spate of agitations for the breakup of the Nigerian State, especially the renewed call by the pro-Biafra groups of South East Nigeria to carve out an Igbo nation.

While we may not understand the exact mission of the Niger Delta Avengers, one of the most lethal militant groups in Nigeria today, it is not likely to be too far from that of the Biafrans ultimately.

FEAR GRIPS APC AS FEMI FANI-KAYODE REGAINS FREEDOM

Femi Fani-Kayode

President Buhari, Tinubu and entire leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) jitters as the vocal former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode was freed on Friday, after spending over 2 months in EFCC’s detention.

Kayode’s Media Adviser, Ndukwe, said Fani-Kayode was released on Friday evening, and that he was likely to travel from Lagos, where he was held, to Abuja later tonight.

“Yes, he’d confirmed to me that he’d been released,” Mr. Ndukwe said in a brief telephone exchange at 7:13 p.m.

He added, “It’s still possible he might come to Abuja tonight, if he’s able to”.

Fani-Kayode, has been in detention since he was invited by the anti-graft agency on May 9, 2016, in Abuja.

BREAKING NEWS: AT LAST FEMI FANI KAYODE FREED

Fani-Kayode

At last the much troubled previous Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, was set free on Friday after over two months in the detention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, as stated by his media consultant.

It was told PREMIUM TIMES by Jude Ndukwe that Mr. Fani-Kayode was discharged Friday evening, and that he was likely go from Lagos where he was held, to Abuja later today evening time.

“Yes, he’d confirmed to me that he’d been released,” Mr. Ndukwe said in a brief telephone exchange at 7:13 p.m. “It’s still possible he might come to Abuja tonight if he’s able to.”

Mr. Fani-Kayode who had been in incarceration since May 9, 2016, in Abuja was later exchanged to Lagos where the EFCC hammered a 17-count charge on him, blaming the previous minister for misusing government cash.

After weeks in confinement, Mr. Fani-Kayode was conceded a N250 million bail on the fourth of July, but was still kept under arrest pending his meeting the prerequisites for his bail.

Similarly, a previous Minister of Finance, Nenadi Usman, and a man, Danjuma Yusuf, who were charged together with Mr. Fani-Kayode, were likewise given comparative bail conditions.

Though it was not clear at the moment whether the two had met their bail conditions.

FALANA KNOCKS BUHARI FOR DEFENDING BURATAI FOR CORRUPTION

Falana

As a result of the revelation that Lt. –Gen. Tukur Buratai bought Dubai property worth $1.5m, Human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana has urged President Buhari to sack him if he refuses to resign voluntarily.

Falana stressed that the fight against corruption must be holistic if the President must win the war against corruption.

Mr. Falana labelled as a “cock and bull story” what the Nigerian Army that the properties were paid for in different instalments via his personal savings. And further lamented how the name of the Nigerian Army has been used illegally to defend Buratai in the scam.

He further stressed that to date, no one has come out to tell Nigerians how an army General could be able to manage to save the sum $1.5m.

Furthermore, he stated “In view of the ban on the opening and operation of foreign accounts by public officers, the Code of Conduct Bureau should be involved in the investigation.”

More so, “If the Chief of Army Staff does not deem it fit to resign forthwith President Buhari should not hesitate to remove him in the interest of national morality.”

This is because President Buhari had promised Nigerians that his war against corruption will not respect anybody, no matter how highly placed, thus, Buratai should step down for there to be a full scale investigation the relevant government agencies to swing into action.

AFENIFERE SPITS FIRE AT BUHARI

AFENIFERE

Afenifere, the Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation has rejected the statement credited to President Buhari that the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable.

The President made the statement on Wednesday when he warned the Niger Delta Militants who wants the injustices inflicted against the region addressed to lay down their arms, emphasizing that the country must be united at all cost. Meaning, even if it will cost the people of the Niger Delta their lives and resources to keep the nation as one, he’s ready to do it not minding the consequences.

However, the National Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Yinka Odumakin responded to the President’s comment by saying that Buhari’s government has already divided the country. This assertion may not be unconnected with Buhari’s lopsided style of administration.

Odumakin however said, “I think the President is a sincere man but he may not be reading the mood correctly.”

He further stressed that Nigeria is divided under President Buhari than any other government.

He also said “to continue to insist that the unity is not negotiable is aping that bird which buries its head in the sand believes, because it is seeing nobody, it has become invisible too.”
